All-Benefit Scenarios
SB6 relative to SB1 – SB5...
Now that you have…
- SB1 – Connected with your True Self and the Natural World…
- SB2 – Honoured and Uplifted Yourself…
- SB3 – Identified and committed to Living Your Ideals…
- SB2 – Honoured and Uplifted Yourself…
- SB4 – Learned to Focus Deliberately to attract what you want…
- SB5 – Begun Following Your Highest Excitement…
Q: What’s next?
A: SB6 – Seek All-Benefit Scenarios
This sixth practice is about thinking beyond yourself
and more about giving back to others, your community, and the world.
It’s about finding scenarios that don’t just benefit you, but benefit everyone.
Once you know that you can always meet your needs and will always have enough,
you can focus more on what you can do to help others.
Since we're all connected...
Our actions, negative or positive towards others, affect US too. Whatever we spray on another, blows back and sticks to us as well.
Similarly, we all share in the warmth and glow of All-Benefit Scenarios.
Since we also understand that we Create our Reality though our Deliberate Focus, we now have access to ALL the elements and resources needed to allow EVERYONE’S thriving.
Examples of
All-Benefit Scenarios in practice…
- You can let the person behind you in line go ahead of you and know there will still be enough for you, or something better.
- You negotiate a fair price in transactions, knowing you don’t have to crush the other party, but can allow them fair profit so they can transact and live with dignity.
- It’s being the one to take the first step, make the first move, offer an outstretched hand.
- It’s being kind and generous, helping to uplift others and raise their outlook and understanding, and helping them believe in themselves.
- It’s reminding them that…
Things are always working out.
We share the same planet...
- It’s understanding that we ALL live on ONE planet, and you can’t rape and pillage one area without damaging your shared environment and hurting yourself.
- It’s understanding that we’re all fleas living on the same dog, and that un-wellness in one area affects the whole organism.
- Because we’re all connected, hurting one hurts all, including you, and helping one helps all, including you.
- As another benefits, you benefit. As one benefits, we all benefit.
We ALL have need to receive and we all can give, although at TIMES we may be more disposed to one situation than the other or have abundance to give in one AREA and need to receive in another.
Such is the human condition and the ebb and flow of give and take in life.
Treat everyone like a brother...
Okinawans in Japan live by the principle of ichariba chode which means…
“treat everyone like a brother,
even if you’ve never met them before.”
Finding All-Benefit Scenarios is treating everyone like your brother or sister.
- Okinawans also promote creation of Moai, which is a small community social group where members contribute a set amount monthly to be spent on shared meetings, activities, games, and fellowship.
- Each month a set amount is made available from the remaining surplus to be given to a member of the group who seems to have need of it. The beneficiary is chosen by group members and distributed on a rotating basis.
- Being part of a Moai provides both emotional and financial stability. If a member finds themselves in financial need they can borrow from the group’s savings.
- These groups provide members with feelings of belonging and support and security that helps increase longevity.
Such initiatives are examples of Seeking All-Benefit Scenarios in practice.
Ubuntu
Per Wikipedia…
Ubuntu, meaning humanity describes a set of closely related Bantu African-origin value systems that emphasize the interconnectedness of individuals with their surrounding societal and physical worlds.
“Ubuntu” is sometimes translated as “I am because we are” (also “I am because you are”), or “humanity towards others”.
In a more philosophical sense, it often means “the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity”.
One Small Town...
It’s applying the principle that,
“If it’s not good for everyone,
it’s no good at all.”
It’s sharing responsibility within communities, for growing food, raising children, and creating a thriving village.
Check out the One Small Town for yourself Here
It’s not just talking about these things;
it’s setting an example and being one who practises it visibly for others to see and to emulate.
Seeking All-benefit Scenarios is a “mastery-level” practice
that leverages multiple P3k Pillars and Practices
to help create a better life and a better world.
However, before getting started,
- …it’s useful to understand some of the old thinking and practices
- that have been holding us back,
- so that we can grow beyond them.
- so that we can grow beyond them.
- that have been holding us back,
Understanding the roadblocks...
Why not already?
- Why are we not already seeking All-Benefit Scenarios?
- Why don’t we always strive for what is best for the most?
We are happy to share with our children and families and the ones we love. We strive to do what’s best for our communities, and to a degree we want to do what’s best for all.
Fading away…
However, this take-care-of-others mindset seems to fade more, the further we get from “us” and the closer we get to “them.”
We tend to be less caring for “the poor” in slums, or in developing countries, especially if they seem different from us…
- perhaps a different race,
- skin colour,
- socio-economic level,
- language, customs, nationality, or religion.
We’re more likely to help those who seem like us than those who seem different.
Someone else’s job…
Maybe the problems seem too overwhelming and discouraging to contemplate, and it’s easier to look away, or to say…
“Let someone else fix it, isn’t that what governments and relief agencies are for?”
“I pay my taxes, let someone else more qualified than me,
take some of that money and solve their problems.”
“I have my own concerns and life to live.”
Judgement…
Sometimes we rationalize that OUR better situation is because of OUR initiative and life choices and think that THEY could resolve their predicament if they just behaved more like us.
We may JUDGE them to be deserving of their situation and the authors of their own fate due to their laziness, weakness, or bad decisions.
What’s the main thing stopping us?
All the above have merit, but…
…it’s primarily our belief in lack, limitation, and separation,
that’s reinforced in our world that stops us.
Where did belief in lack come from?
We’ve been warned not to give too much away in case we need it ourselves.
We’ve been convinced there’s a finite “pie”
and if too many others get their slice first,
there won’t be enough left for us.
Having stuff is great…
There’s nothing wrong with wanting and collecting nice things…
…but HOARDING while others in need suffer for want of just a sliver of what another has, and would never miss, seems mean-spirited and pathological.
Hoarding and gorging for protection…
To protect themselves, the weak and vulnerable seek power; and they hoard.
They HOARD their money, their trust, their time, their kindness, and their love to protect themselves from being hurt.
They hide their true selves behind masks of conventionality to be accepted.
They may GORGE on money, on power, on possessions and by using intoxicants and food to numb their hurt and pain, and to soothe themselves.
They may even hoard pounds on their body to protect themselves from unwanted approach.
We used to trust, not hoard...
The child’s perspective…
A newborn infant has no power and depends on its parents for everything. It trusts that its parents will provide it warmth, food, security, love, and its other needs.
The infant returns this trust and love instinctively to the parents. It seeks hugs when it needs comforting and freely gives hugs to express its love. It asks for its parents’ help and knows it will always receive it.
The secure child learns that even though it has little power, it can trust its parents to provide benevolence, kindness, support, and love. This becomes the child’s natural expectation from, and response to, its parents.
The parent’s perspective…
Parents feel responsible for having brought the newborn into the world.
They feel a duty to care for it, they feel connected to it, and they love it.
They know the child depends on them.
They care for the child and share whatever they have they think will benefit it.
They expect the child will appreciate their offerings and naturally return kindness, caring and love to them.
This is the parent’s
natural response and expectation
of their relationship with their child.
Natural inclination…
Healthy, happy children, from stable, loving homes, approach other children with the same atmosphere they experience at home.
They offer the same kindness, sharing, comforting, and caring they experience at home.
Their natural inclination is to spread the same aura of family into the larger world.
So, what happens?
Eventually that happy loving, trusting child encounters someone who has not experienced and learned these qualities themselves.
The trusting child gets hurt and becomes wary of painful experiences and learns to guard against them.
Where did the hurt, inflicted on the trusting child, come from?
That hurt came from other hurt children, who grew up in hurtful families, and likely grow up into hurt, and hurtful, adults who are less inclined to trust and expect benevolence, kindness, caring and love from others, and the world.
When these wounded adults become parents, they teach their kids their view of the world and to be just like them, and in doing so to spread the same type of hurt they believe is a natural, common part of daily life.
The sick cycle repeats, and the toxic ones living it,
infect healthy others.
How do we interrupt this cycle and restore trust?
We need to HEAL any residual hurt...
To be strong, and brave, and broad-minded, generous, and secure, and confident enough to seek All-Benefit Scenarios as part of creating a Paradigm 3k world…
…one needs to HEAL any hurt within themselves
that causes them to hoard and hold back.
We need to KNOW we will always…
- BE enough and
- HAVE enough,
- so it’s SAFE to care,and share,
- and reveal our true selves,
- including our vulnerabilities…
…because we KNOW we are strong and resourceful enough to resolve ANY challenges or turbulence that may come our way.
We must KNOW we are abundant enough…
…to loosen our grip and let some of our abundance FLOW into the hands of those who need it now.
Why don’t we KNOW this abundance?
Societal conditioning…
In addition to our upbringing and life experiences, there is societal conditioning that shapes our VIEW of the world and how to interact with it.
This conditioning involves INFLUENCING what we are aware of and how we think about things and what we CONSIDER appropriate behaviour that is encouraged and deemed acceptable.
We have been taught that there’s only so much pie to go around, and this is reinforced continuously everywhere in society.
“Get yours now before it’s gone!”
How else does society condition and shape our views?
Consciousness blinders…
The current 2k paradigm makes extensive use of consciousness blinders on many subjects and in many areas of our life to reinforce separation.
These blinders obscure the truth of the whole picture and our oneness and connectedness.
Moving to Paradigm 3k
requires REMOVING these blinders.
What exactly is a blinder?
Blinder (noun)
Per Merriam-Webster’s dictionary Blinders are…
1: either of two flaps on a horse’s bridle to keep it from seeing objects at its sides
2: a limitation or obstruction to sight or discernment
Controlling Beasts of Burden…
Horses and other beasts of burden are outfitted with blinders to prevent them being distracted by objects or activities in their periphery that owners want them kept unaware of, and to keep them pointed and pulling in the direction their driver decides.
Mainstay of the 2k paradigm…
Consciousness blinders are used in 2k to keep populations “selectively” informed, and unaware of data that could confuse or distract them, cause them to question, or interfere with them being driven in the desired direction.
Populations are shown select information supporting a specific point of view, so they accept that view as truth, and the complete extent of reality, and so are less likely to consider alternate perspectives.
Populations are kept fearful and feeling vulnerable, and too busy chasing around just to survive, to stop and SEE the whole picture and to THINK about whether what’s being shown to them makes sense or is even the truth.
Blinders are like a magician’s slight-of-hand that distracts and diverts attention.
Essentially a spotlight is shone to illuminate
those aspects upon which they are supposed to FIXATE,
and blinders are placed to obscure aspects
they are meant to IGNORE.
Examples of consciousness blinding…
Electric Cars:
- FIXATE on feeling superior, smug, pious, and noble for fighting highly fashionable and popularized “climate crisis.”
- IGNORE the environmental damage and human cost of ACCESSING the exotic materials required, the lack of capacity to generate adequate supply of electricity, lack of infrastructure to distribute it, the monetary and environmental costs of both generating the power (such as through carbon fuelled generating stations) and transmitting it through an expanded grid, to CHARGE batteries, and the headaches and costs of responsibly DISPOSING of expired batteries.
Nuclear Energy:
- FIXATE on the mantra of “cheap, clean and pollution free” energy.
- IGNORE the MASSIVE costs of infrastructure, power plant decommissioning, site remediation, spent fuel disposal, and those pesky radiation leaks, meltdowns, and environmental contamination like at Fukushima, Chernobyl, and Three-Mile Island.
Cheap Overseas Goods:
- FIXATE on the low price and convenience.
- IGNORE exploitive working conditions or health damage to workers, the environmental costs of lax pollution laws where goods are manufactured, and disposal costs of discarded goods once they’re broken or obsolete.
None of these examples are representative of All-Benefit Scenarios but are typical of what we are inundated with daily.
These are the types of blinders that obscure the broader aspects of the true picture and prevent healthy, substantial, CONSTRUCTIVE conversation to FAIRLY evaluate these issues.
How many more situations?
In addition to those examples listed above…
- How many more consciousness blinders have been INSTALLED in our culture to RESTRICT our view of the truth to keep us selectively aware, feeling small, vulnerable, subservient and focused on pulling the cart in the direction the DRIVER decides?
- How many more are hidden in plain sight that we walk past every day, oblivious to the deception that is being pedalled and the agenda behind it, because we are too busy rushing around living our lives, fretting about trivialities rather than CONTEMPLATING bigger issues, that are more impactful to our wellbeing, and DESERVING of our attention?
Typically, a select FEW focus on what benefits THEM, while little thought is given to what’s best for ALL.
Removing the blinders…
SEEKING All-Benefit Scenarios requires REMOVING blinders for those who WANT to see what’s really going on, and how the game is being played, so NOT to fall for scams, to SIDESTEP the traps and to make WISER choices.
But what happens WHEN the truth is revealed?
How do you NOT feel angry about being lied to and deceived?
What do you DO with these FEELINGS of betrayal?
Awareness & adeptness,
not emotional reaction…
Stay focused and effective…
- Don’t get discouraged, depressed, or enraged at what’s being revealed…
- Don’t let yourself be triggered…
- Don’t let your focus get captured or energy consumed…
- DO be aware so you don’t fall for the scams…
- DO invest your creative energy in BUILDING improved systems to replace the corrupted ones.
Rather than tear down;
help BUILD something better you and others can MIGRATE to.
Starve the weeds…
DEPRIVE dysfunctional systems of your attention and energy and they will wither and perish.
As more people flock to alternatives that serve them better,
old systems will simply crumble and disappear.
Keep calm and stay FOCUSED on your target, your IDEAL of what you want instead...
TV picture tube protests…
Do you remember the public protests and war against old-style cathode-ray tube televisions?
Me neither, so forget protesting and pushing against...
Once BETTER technology emerged, people gladly dumped their heavy, bulky TVs and migrated to flat screens. Flat screens were DISRUPTIVE technology.
The same type of evolution happened years earlier when portable transistor radios supplanted vacuum-tube floor radios.
Later, integrated circuits displaced those transistorized devices.
Each technology has its day before being replaced with something better.
The old doesn’t need to be pushed out,
we just leave it behind to fade away as we move to something better.
The above are examples of the evolution of SCIENTIFIC technology,
but what about the evolution of CONSCIOUSNESS technology?
Consciousness Technology Evolution…
Paradigm 3k leverages an evolution in CONSCIOUSNESS technology based on the EXPANDED understanding of ourselves and the world.
Paradigm 3k is DISRUPTIVE consciousness technology
that makes the old style obsolete.
These advances aren’t made in a lab or a factory, and you don’t have to wait for a product launch or costs to come down before you can access them.
These advances are made within YOURSELF, within your own MIND, and your own UNDERSTANDING, and are validated by your own EXPERIENCES that verify their truth.
These advances are available here on this website for YOU and anyone else who wants them, NOW.
Cost of early adoption…
Emerging technology typically has a steep cost for early adoption. For example, four-function calculators used to be bulky and cost hundreds of dollars when they first came out. Now a free app on your smart phone does more.
What’s the cost of early adoption
for this new Consciousness Technology?
Energy and courage…
The “cost” of early adoption is in the ENERGY it takes to be DIFFERENT from the crowd, and to stand apart from their beliefs and thinking and EMBODY new behaviour.
It takes COURAGE to leave the familiar behind and establish NEW ways of thinking and living, especially when most around you don’t understand, are still stuck in the old ways, and would like to keep you stuck there with them.
In future, even the lazy laggards will migrate to this consciousness once most others have already done so.
By then, the social cost of remaining a dinosaur will be greater than that of joining the majority. Late adopters and laggards will eventually jump onboard once society has passed the tipping point, once the momentum of change has become self perpetuating and unstoppable.
But we are not there yet…
Creating the Tipping point…
WE are the innovators
and early adopters...
WE must be prepared to invest the ENERGY required in ourselves, our lives, and in our futures, and display the COURAGE needed
to SEED this new paradigm.
Like venturing to a new, unexplored world, this is a mission for the brave, the adventurous, the forward-thinking and the strong.
Above all, this is a job for the strong.
Are YOU up to the task?
Reaching beyond yourself…
Until now, P3k understanding and SB7 practices have primarily been things employed WITHIN yourself and your life.
Now, with Seek All-Benefit Scenarios, you are asked to look BEYOND yourself
to see how YOUR interactions with the world can benefit ALL involved.
This is putting your understanding and skills OUT THERE where they can be better SEEN, MULTIPLY, and have greater positive IMPACT.
Seek what is best for all…
You are NOT just looking at what’s best for you, but what’s best for ALL…
This doesn’t require “sacrificing” or depriving yourself or subordinating your needs.
This is an “AND” not an “OR” Universe we’re living in.
Here we focus on creating INGENIOUS scenarios and solutions where EVERYONE benefits in some way.
Scenarios where no one is exploited, and EVERYONE benefits.
New definitions…
Solution redefined…
We now hereby REDEFINE the term “Solution” such that something cannot be deemed a TRUE solution unless EVERYONE affected benefits in some way.
Anything LESS is a compromise, a settling for less, a failure to achieve what is optimal, a falling short of what could be. This is not condemnation… just a case of missing the bullseye of what we’re aiming for as the IDEAL.
All-Benefit scenarios are ideals
that we can usually achieve by being creative.
“Winning” redefined…
The importance of competition and “Winning” is another definition that needs adjustment.
Competition is fine, but winning is personal and subjective and interpretive
and is entirely within one’s control.
The 2k paradigm says that, during competition, one player or team “wins” and the others “lose.”
In Paradigm 3k, ALL can “win.”
It just depends on your perspective and scope of definition.
Each participant can “win”…
- by becoming “more” by participating,
- by enjoying the experience,
- by achieving a new personal best
- by gaining better UNDERSTANDING of the game and outcomes of different strategies
- by better understanding themselves after playing
They can also win by taking pleasure in helping another player overcome THEIR challenges and helping them achieve a higher level of play so BOTH players grow as a result.
Personal trophies…
One doesn’t always achieve exactly what they set out to accomplish, and learning to embrace these “plot twists” and bounce back from them is a valuable skill.
Our form of winning involves employing the “This too, must serve me” mindset to find something of value in everything and to FIND the “wins” in every experience.
The only trophies you’ll receive are those you bestow upon yourself in recognition of…
- the experience gained and resulting growth that adds to the totality of all you are…
- how well you maintained your personal integrity…
- how much you helped others.
- how well you maintained your personal integrity…
The plaque on these trophies says “Freedom, Expansion and Joy” because that is what you came for, and that is the ultimate prize you seek.
If you achieved such prize from ANY segment of your life experience…
…you are already a “winner.”
Massively transformative…
This concept is SO different to the normal mindset and approach pedalled in 2k, and is so powerful, that it can be MASSIVELY transformative and world changing.
Genuine caring...
Just IMAGINE the shock to another’s expectations and their world view when they see YOU expressing genuine caring for THEIR wellbeing as part of your dealings with them.
In a world where many have come to expect others just to care about themselves, and where people largely focus on taking advantage of each other…
…IMAGINE how refreshing and transformative it will be for some to SEE others genuinely caring about them and being focused and emotionally invested in creating scenarios where everyone’s needs are met.
Best and fairest deal for all…
Instead of the best deal for ourselves,
we want the fairest, most beneficial deal for everyone.
Business dealings…
IMAGINE businesses dealing with each other,
- NOT to extract the lowest short-term price and best terms,
- but rather to ARRIVE at a fair exchange that allows both to THRIVE and ensures a bright future for their mutual ongoing dealings.
This is opposite to the opportunistic, predatory, exploitive, bully mindset of many 2k paradigm business dealings.
Personal dealings…
IMAGINE a person miscounting the money they hand you for a transaction, and SEEING you return the overage to them, because that’s what’s fair and best for you both.
Why?
Because the importance of remaining
in integrity and aligned
with personal values of honesty and fairness
are more precious
than the additional money.
Personal relationships…
IMAGINE divorce proceedings being guided by what’s best for all parties’ growth…
…especially that of their children…
…rather than degenerating into petty squabbles
that disgrace and disserve everyone.
A world that trusts...
IMAGINE a world where no one needs to lock their doors, because people value their own sense of honour and honestly more than the trinkets, they could steal from another, especially knowing they could create their own trinkets through their focus.
There would be no need to steal what they could create themselves.
People don’t feel the need to steal, because they feel taken care of, and that they have enough.
In the 3k paradigm, theft from another would incur the greater loss of one’s own integrity.
There would be no motive, but rather a disincentive and unacceptable cost to stealing.
A world of kindness...
IMAGINE if allowing another to starve or want for the necessities of life, when you can help them, is unthinkable.
IMAGINE if harming another would incur the loss of one’s value and ideal of being kind. Unthinkable.
IMAGINE if causing suffering to another ran counter to one’s commitment not to cause unnecessary pain for anyone or anything.
IMAGINE if polluting, toxifying or harming nature or ecosystems was seen as poisoning oneself.
Universal duty to thrive…
Does this mean we all become passive snowflakes afraid to inconvenience another or impose on the world for what we need to survive?
Certainly not.
We are entitled and obligated to maintain our earthy existence in these physical bodies.
After all, we came to thrive and live boldly. We have a duty to thrive.
How can we do best for ourselves and others
if all are not thriving, ourselves included?
We DESERVE to receive what we need to thrive…
…and this includes experiencing the pleasure of giving to another.
Just commit to thrive in a way that AVOIDS unnecessary pain and harm and suffering to others.
Find and implement All-Benefit Scenarios
that minimize downsides and maximize benefits and thriving.
The people who BUILD this new world
are those who BELIEVE in it and will work towards it.
Most people WANT fairness and a better life and will SUPPORT initiatives that provide these.
The higher priority is NOT to convince the naysayers
but rather to EQUIP, EMPOWER, and ORGANIZE
the VISIONARIES who are COMMITTED to creating a better reality.
We HAVE a vision and a plan and will figure out the details as we go,
and Seeking All-Benefit Scenarios is a key part.
